Our organization regularly reviews requests for funding from various causes throughout the year.

Grants can be given to any cause as long as it works to benefit women and children in our community and may be awarded to individuals, families, companies, and non-profit groups.

At least two (2) recipients will be selected by HWSL members, HWSL Grant Committee and HWSL Executive  Board, using the following rubric. There is no guaranteed minimum funding level.

• Community Need – quantifiable local data substantiates the need

​​

• Mission Coherence – project coheres with the mission of HWSL

​​

• Measurable Outcomes – project has clearly defined outcomes and uses appropriate measurement tools

 

Grant application is due May 1, 2023.
